Role Overview

The Team Lead is a pivotal role within our Whole Foods Market team, responsible for driving sales growth, improving profitability, and fostering an exceptional customer experience. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be instrumental in leading by example, motivating your team, and upholding the company's core values.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to join our team as a Prepared Foods Associate Team Leader. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in retail management, with a strong focus on delivering outstanding results, building high-performing teams, and driving business growth.

As a Prepared Foods Associate Team Leader, you will be accountable for overseeing daily store operations, including managing inventory, controlling expenses, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase employee engagement.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase employee engagement.
  • Oversee daily store operations, including managing inventory, controlling expenses, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of products, services, and competitors to inform business decisions and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive innovation.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 18 months of retail management experience, with a strong focus on sales growth, customer satisfaction, and team leadership.
  • Proven track record of success in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing employee engagement.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience. This includes:
  • An estimated hourly wage range of $22.55 - $36.08 per hour.
