Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Team Trainer to join our team at Whole Foods Market. This individual will be responsible for delivering quality training to new and ongoing store teams, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be comfortable speaking in front of small and large groups, have strong communication skills, and be able to deliver information in a clear and respectful manner.

The Team Trainer will work closely with Team Leaders and the Store Trainer to schedule New Member training during their first four shifts, coordinate with New Members on the timely completion of New Member Connections, and facilitate team-specific operational training for Team Members. They will also attend Team Trainer meetings, act as a role model for constant food safety, sanitation procedures, and occupational safety, and train all Team Members on customer service standards and new products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver quality training to new and ongoing store teams
  • Schedule New Member training during their first four shifts
  • Coordinate with New Members on the timely completion of New Member Connections
  • Facilitate team-specific operational training for Team Members
  • Attend Team Trainer meetings
  • Act as a role model for constant food safety, sanitation procedures, and occupational safety
  • Train all Team Members on customer service standards and new products

Requirements:
  • 6 months of Whole Foods Market experience (or equivalent retail training experience)
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectful manner
  • Comfortable speaking in front of small and large groups

Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • In an 8-hour workday: standing/walking 6-8 hours
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation pushing, and pulling
