Job Summary:

This is a leadership role that oversees the daily operations of our bakery department. As a Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and delegating tasks to team members, training new hires, maintaining a clean and well-stocked environment, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Directly supervise team members, provide coaching and feedback, and ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with the Bakery Trainer to develop and implement training programs that promote a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the bakery department, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and sanitation standards.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, respond promptly to customer needs and questions, and maintain a positive and welcoming store environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 12+ months of retail experience, preferably in a bakery or food service setting.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations-related applications.
  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
