Job Summary

The Lead Cook is a key member of our culinary team at Caribe Royale, responsible for supporting the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chefs in delivering high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a strong background in restaurant operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chefs in managing daily food preparation and duties.
  • Coordinate daily tasks with the Executive Chef/Chef de Cuisine/Sous Chef.
  • Estimate daily production needs and ensure quality of raw and cooked food products.
  • Ensure highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating and food costs on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a 4-diamond resort.
  • Strong restaurant operation background.
  • Possess outstanding guest services skills, professional presentation, and sophisticated communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including holidays and weekends.
Physical Demands
  • Physical agility and ability to move quickly in confined spaces.
  • Ability to stand/walk/reach and bend throughout shift.
  • Ability to push/pull 100lbs and lift 50lbs.
