Job Title: Senior Center Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the position of Senior Center Coordinator for our community outreach program. This part-time role will involve assisting with planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational, social, recreational, health-promoting, and inspirational programming for members of our senior center.

This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with older adults and has experience in event planning, human services, or a related field. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to function as part of a team. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and data entry is also essential.

The estimated salary for this role is $40,000-$50,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including paid time off and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning and implementing activities for seniors at our community center
  • Lead selected activities and events
  • Monitor activity attendance records and maintain confidentiality
  • Assist with the production and distribution of promotional materials
  • Help set up and manage food resources for center participants
  • Direct consumers to the center's Social Service Coordinator as needed
