Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Construction Project Engineer/Manager to become a vital part of our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will take charge of large-scale construction initiatives, focusing on critical infrastructure such as roads, highways, bridges, and flood management systems. This role is well-suited for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with a strong background in collaborating with government entities and a commitment to quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of project life cycle, from initial planning and design through to construction and final delivery.
  • Foster relationships with governmental agencies and transportation departments.
  • Employ Microstation software for effective project design and execution.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to safety and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to facilitate successful project outcomes.
  • Establish and enforce quality control protocols to maintain project excellence.
  • Mentor and guide a team of engineers and project personnel.
  • Oversee large-scale flood management projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Regularly assess and communicate project status, risks, and challenges to senior leadership and stakeholders.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the engineering sector.
  • Proven track record in managing large construction projects, particularly in transportation infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Microstation software.
  • Experience working with governmental bodies and transportation departments.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of flood risk management and mitigation projects.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
  • Ability to manage large-scale projects with diligence and integrity.
