Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Rehabilitation Specialist

Shift: Daytime / 8a-5p, 8x5, 40hrs per week

Requirements:

  • State License
  • 2 years of professional experience
  • BLS Certification
  • Entry-level qualifying master's or doctorate degree in Rehabilitation Therapy from an accredited institution or graduation from an APTA approved program at the undergraduate level with 2 years of proven experience and Continuing Education that demonstrates mastery of the knowledge typically covered in a master's program
  • Broad clinical experience across various settings is preferred

Additional Information:

  • EMR System: Cerner
  • Understanding of musculoskeletal physiology, including active/passive range of motion, gait, strength, biomechanics, and cognitive function to conduct a variety of standardized assessments, selecting the most suitable tests for specific clients and implementing treatments accordingly
  • Expertise in various techniques for delivering effective assessments, evaluations, treatment planning, and interventions for patients with diverse diagnoses and functional limitations
  • Familiarity with regulations and practice standards related to Rehabilitation Therapy, including billing mechanisms (Medicaid, Medicare, and third-party payers) that may be applicable for patient equipment and services
  • Rehabilitation treatment skills: Ability to utilize, properly fit, and instruct patients on adaptive devices, including but not limited to splints, braces, orthoses, seating equipment, durable medical equipment, and assistive devices for daily living
