Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Enforce Documentation Standards: Establish and maintain standards for Toyota Material Handling's technical publications.
  • Content Creation and Management: Plan, create, and update technical publications for various projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Review and Editing: Organize reviews of material for technical accuracy and make edits according to feedback from stakeholders.
  • Dealer Support: Create dealer-facing articles for the knowledge base, educating dealer staff on product information and best practices.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Issue product information via notifications, bulletins, or other communications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless document delivery.
  • Continuous Improvement: Initiate revisions of technical publications based on user feedback, ensuring that documentation remains relevant and effective.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform additional duties as assigned by management, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred, or alternative degrees and extensive work experience in relevant industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in FrameMaker, Microsoft Excel, and Word, with experience in technical communication or publications.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Additional Qualifications: Experience with customer or dealer communications a plus.
