Job Title: Technical Support Specialist
Job Summary:
Russell Tobin is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for users who call our IT Service Desk. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service while resolving technical issues promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide phone support to customers, listening to their concerns and resolving issues efficiently
- Document all interactions in a call tracking system and utilize a knowledge base tool to resolve issues
- Work in a fast-paced environment, identifying opportunities to streamline and automate processes
- Assess, triage, research, and resolve incidents and requests related to enterprise software and hardware
- Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed, demonstrating professionalism and composure
- Support all aspects of client support and immediate computing needs, ensuring a positive customer experience
- Identify and work with internal end-users to provide guidance and support, sound communications, and customer service principles
- Investigate, diagnose, resolve, and recover from hardware and software problems
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
- Two to five years of proven work experience in a comparable complex, high-tech, and fast-paced work environment
- Ability to diagnose problems and provide effective solutions quickly
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a high-pressure environment
- Willingness to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
