Key Responsibilities:Enhance sales and profit margins by executing sales strategies and managing territories, tailoring sales approaches to individual clients.Identify and onboard new customer accounts, including proactive outreach to ensure a strong pipeline of opportunities.Inform customers about convenience and foodservice programs, new product promotions, marketing strategies, service details, delivery specifics, and industry trends.Review performance reports with store managers and assist in identifying growth opportunities.Reduce accounts receivable issues by monitoring compliance with credit terms and addressing any concerns.Stay informed about pricing trends within your sales territory, particularly for products, to maintain competitive pricing.Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will drive sales growth.Engage in relevant industry events and networking opportunities.Carry out additional duties as assigned.Local Travel Requirement: This role necessitates the ability to travel to customer locations within the assigned sales territory. Some overnight travel may be required.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
The ideal candidate should possess the following:Demonstrated success in closing sales across various product lines in a B2B environment.Proven experience in sales travel and effective time management.Basic understanding of food safety standards, including HACCP practices and cold-chain management, along with maintaining Serv-Safe certification.Detail-oriented and organized, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to conduct professional, results-oriented customer presentations.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.Energetic and entrepreneurial mindset.Sales professional with a history of increasing market share.
