Renewable Energy Procurement Program Manager

About the Opportunity:
As a Procurement Program Manager, you will play a critical role in connecting electricity consumers with renewable energy generators. You will understand the complexities of gathering requirements and driving a project from concept to implementation. With the demand for resilient, clean energy growing, many Federal Government energy consumers need support standing up new programs to manage limited resources and achieve sophisticated energy objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage renewable energy procurement processes
- Develop milestone plans and coordinate with senior client stakeholders
- Define and support data acquisition and reporting strategies to track progress and improve processes
- Drive decisions to help achieve renewable energy goals for our clients
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as an energy program or project manager
- Experience with advising senior clients and stakeholders
- Experience in working with electricity utility providers
- Knowledge of regulatory issues driving the utility industry across the U.S.
- Knowledge of the renewable energy industry, including power purchase agreements, renewable energy credits (RECs), renewable energy tariffs, and common renewable generation technologies
- Ability to manage schedule and workload to successfully deliver on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work with data analysts and technical experts to develop functional and technical requirements
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with advising Federal agencies
- Experience in working with the Department of Defense
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123, annualized USD.
