We are retained by a prominent, forward-thinking company in their search for a skilled Portfolio Manager to oversee alternative energy projects.

This organization is in the renewable energy sector and is backed by a private equity firm with a strong track record of success.

The company has a history of meeting and exceeding goals and objectives, with a culture that prioritizes innovation and employee growth.

The Portfolio Manager will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management, who will provide valuable guidance and mentorship.

This person will have exposure to multiple areas of the company, including asset management, finance, and mergers & acquisitions.

The Portfolio Manager will conduct financial modeling and analysis to inform investment decisions and support the company's strategy.

Position:


This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 4 years of experience in portfolio, energy, and/or trading management.

Industry experience in renewable energy or a related field is preferred.

Proficiency in Excel is required, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

The Portfolio Manager must be able to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or related field. Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in portfolio, energy, and/or trading management.

Industry experience in renewable energy or a related field; experience working with a renewable independent power producer (IPP) or private equity preferred.

Proficiency in Excel required.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a results-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
