Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement - Act as the main liaison with clients, ensuring their voice is represented within Racemark to meet their needs and expectations across the organization.
- Program Oversight - Manage the complete lifecycle of programs from initiation to conclusion, ensuring timely delivery, profitability, and compliance with quality standards.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration - Collaborate closely with department heads to synchronize efforts and enhance performance across all functional areas in accordance with client requirements.
- Project Coordination - Employ project management methodologies to launch new programs and modify existing ones, effectively communicating the details of each program.
- Quotation Management, RFQ Development and Submission - Spearhead the creation, support, and submission of Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to capture new business opportunities. Oversee the quoting process, ensuring profit margins are preserved throughout the program's duration.
- Quality Control - Uphold high-quality standards, ensuring all outputs meet or surpass client expectations.
- Problem Resolution - Identify and escalate risks, challenges, and issues appropriately both internally and externally.
- Profitability Oversight - Direct internal value-added initiatives to sustain and enhance profitability and gross margin objectives.
Main Objectives:
- Manage interactions with the client's launch team throughout the program's lifecycle.
- Ensure program goals are achieved on schedule and within financial constraints.
- Communicate client requirements and expectations to relevant internal departments.
- Assess client requests for specialized services, engineering modifications, or other program changes for feasibility and document decisions accordingly.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, encompassing timelines, roles, responsibilities, and budgets.
- Identify and escalate risks, challenges, and issues appropriately.
- Lead internal value-added initiatives to ensure profitability and gross margin targets are met and improved.
- Oversee the quoting process and ensure profit margins are sustained throughout the program's lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in OEM or Tier 1 automotive sectors.
- Familiarity with Automotive Quality Management System certifications and standards (IATF, CCC, VDA, etc.).
- Experience managing programs from design through Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submission (including APQP, VA/VE, DOE, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans).
- Proven capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Project and other project management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently.
- Attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel, less than 20%.
