Global Logistics Sales Representative

As a Business Development Representative at Ingram Barge, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of our International third-party Logistics services. Your primary objective will be to secure new profitable and sustainable customers, generating revenue and driving new business through sales meetings, presenting recommendations for supply chain improvements, and closing sales.
Key Responsibilities- Prospecting, planning, and conducting face-to-face visits with new prospective customers to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions within the Ingram Logistics suite of services.
- Partnering with customers to gather information on their needs and develop customized solutions that meet their requirements.
- Leading cross-functional collaboration with International Ocean, Air, Compliance, and Trucking teams to develop tailored solutions for customers and ensure alignment with corporate strategies in forecasting, business planning, and pipeline development.
- Tracking and reporting pipeline health and maintenance utilizing CRM and pipeline reports to ensure accurate data-driven decision making.
- Fostering global expansion via the existing Ingram agent network and pursuing new agent partners that align with Ingram's strategic global trade lane development initiatives.
- A minimum of three years of commercial experience with a global third-party logistics provider.
- Daily local/regional travel required, with minimal overnight travel (less than 15%).
- Advanced knowledge of logistical concepts and supply chain terminology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others, with a focus on developing and maintaining strong inter-company relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
