Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and Greet Patients: Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.

  • Payment Processing: Process patient payments and manage billing and insurance claims.

  • Vital Signs and Procedures: Record vital signs, perform EKG, spirometry, and other non-complex office procedures as needed.
  • Assisting Physicians: Aid physicians during treatment, examination, and testing of patients, including injections and immunizations.
  • Phone Requests: Coordinate phone requests for prescription refills in accordance with physician instructions.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED with 2 years of related business experience and 2 years of experience in a primary medical practice setting.
  • Medical Assistant Certification: Current certification as a Medical Assistant is required.
  • Phlebotomy Experience: Recent phlebotomy experience is required.
  • EMR Experience: Experience with Athena EMR is preferred.
