Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team for a full-time, hourly contracted position in the Columbia area. This role is perfect for a passionate professional looking to make a significant impact in the lives of students while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the RoleThis occupational therapist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' abilities and needs. They will develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific requirements. The ideal candidate will provide therapy services to improve students' motor, sensory, and perceptual skills, while collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure the integration of therapy goals into the classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' abilities and needs, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific requirements.
- Therapy Services: Provide occupational therapy services to improve students' motor, sensory, and perceptual skills.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure the integration of therapy goals into the classroom setting.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of students' progress and therapy sessions.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in South Carolina. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Benefits and SalaryWe offer a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $45 to $60 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide health, dental, and vision insurance options, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, and opportunities for professional development.
$55/hour estimated salary based on experience.
