Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per yearJob Description:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. As an OT with MMP Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work with clients across the lifespan, including children, adults, and seniors, to promote independence and enhance quality of life.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to build rapport with clients and maintain a patient-centered approach. They will also be proficient in using technology and electronic health records (EHR) for documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, emotional, and environmental needs.
- Use standardized assessment tools to evaluate clients' abilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Treatment Planning and Implementation:
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy programs based on assessment findings.
- Use therapeutic techniques to improve clients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
- Adapt environments, tasks, and materials to enhance clients' performance and independence.
- Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Certification and Licensure:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of [State].
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational therapy preferred.
- Experience working with a diverse client population, including children, adults, and seniors, in various settings (e.g., schools, clinics, hospitals).
