Occupational Therapist Career Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team at Eastgate Manor and Prairie Village. As an Occupational Therapist with American Senior Communities, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting independence for seniors.
In this rewarding role, you will work closely with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs and goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping patients regain mobility, recover from illness or injury, and maintain functional abilities.
What You Will Do:
- Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities to identify areas of need and develop targeted treatment plans.
- Implement occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and adaptive equipment recommendations, to promote maximum recovery and functionality.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress, participation, and satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) to provide services under your plan of care.
Your Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- A valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
- At least 1 year of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a geriatric setting.
