Occupational Therapist Position in Rehabilitation

MMP Staffing Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team.
The ideal candidate will work with clients across the lifespan, including children, adults, and seniors, to promote independence and enhance quality of life. Key responsibilities include client assessment and evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of individualized occupational therapy programs based on assessment findings.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, emotional, and environmental needs.
- Use standardized assessment tools to evaluate clients' abilities and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy programs based on assessment findings.
- Use therapeutic techniques to improve clients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
- Adapt environments, tasks, and materials to enhance clients' performance and independence.
- Provide therapeutic activities and exercises to enhance clients' functional abilities.
- Utilize assistive devices and technology to support clients' participation in daily activities.
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who meets the following requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Certification and Licensure:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of [State].
- Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational therapy preferred.
- Experience working with a diverse client population, including children, adults, and seniors, in various settings (e.g., schools, clinics, hospitals).
