We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Corrections Officer to join our team at the Virginia Correctional Center for Women. As a Corrections Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of the public, staff, and supervisees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide security and custody of adult supervisees at the institution and during transport
  • Supervise daily activities, observe and record behavior, and maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Interact with visitors, staff, and the public to maintain orderly and secure operations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to read and comprehend workplace policies and procedures
  • Ability to lawfully possess a firearm in the Commonwealth of Virginia
