Job Overview

BLH Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Administrative Coordinator to provide high-level administrative support to our Federal clients in Bethesda, MD.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing administrative assistance to senior-level leadership, including setting up and formatting spreadsheets, gathering information, and preparing reports and documents.
  • Maintaining calendars, coordinating meetings, workshops, and training courses, and scheduling conference rooms.
  • Supporting with timekeeping duties and tracking, recording, and directing manuscripts to reviewers.
  • Arranging travel, establishing appointment priorities, and rescheduling or refusing appointments as needed.
  • Compiling data to create presentation slides and reviewing outgoing correspondence for executive approval.
  • In the absence of senior-level leadership, ensuring that requests are relayed to the appropriate staff and deciding whether to notify executives of important issues.
  • Summarizing incoming materials, gathering information, and coordinating with office sources to draw attention to important parts or conflicts.
  • Coordinating the preparation of various items, such as travel requests, professional service orders, and official duty memoranda.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field (Library Administration, Health Sciences, Communications, Business Administration) and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of NIH NBS/Gelco travel system, NIH procurement processes, and NIH timekeeping system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), SharePoint.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Estimated Salary

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
