Strategic National Account Director

National Account Director Job Description
The National Account Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the account to ensure all service level objectives are achieved. This includes managing client contract(s) according to requirements and executing on extensions in alignment with fiscal year retention plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the account to ensure all service level objectives are achieved
- Manage client contract(s) according to requirements and execute on extensions in alignment with fiscal year retention plan
- Support Billing & Collections team through completion of monthly pricing audits, and as required to ensure attainment of AR objectives for client portfolio
- Includes preparation of presentation materials and relevant data reporting, as well as travel and delivery of in-person client presentations
- Support the National Account Sales team in rollout/implementation activities for newly sold clients who will be added to the assigned managed portfolio
- Responsible for implementation of client program upgrades
- Lead RFP retention efforts for clients within managed portfolio in partnership with the National Account Sales team
- Partner with Aramark XLOB leaders to support account management, growth and retention efforts for clients in portfolio who utilize multiple Aramark service lines
- Actively coordinate introductions and meetings between Aramark leadership and client leadership within managed portfolio to facilitate deeper, long-term partnerships
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 8 years successful B2B sales and/or account management experience
- Superior business acumen and the ability to manage high-profile, strategic accounts
- Major (National) Account management experience required
- Ability to lead and collaborate with Account Manager(s) assigned to support account relationships in your portfolio for which you are the primary owner
- Thorough understanding of financial information relating to profit & loss, sales, capital expenses and other operating issues
- Diverse skillset and ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently with precision and efficiency
- Experience in analyzing markets and customer needs to develop innovative strategies leading to increased sales
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
