Regions Hospital is seeking a Night Shift Environmental Services and Transport Services Supervisor who embodies the values of Regions Hospital; Excellence, Compassion, Partnership and Integrity.

The Environmental Services and Transport Services Supervisor supports the hospital mission, holding staff accountable for performance and motivating staff. This position will support cultural diversity by ensuring that the delivery of quality, equitable and culturally competent patient-centered care is provided; promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising 30-45 employees in day-to-day EVS/Transport operations.
  • Maintain Department Service Standards
  • Recruitment of New staff, including interviewing, selecting and onboarding new employees.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and implements changes to increase productivity.
  • Maintains Departmental budgets.

Work Schedule: FTE: 1.0 (40 hrs. weekly), Night Shift

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 4 years of hospital support services experience AND at least 1 year of operational leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: Environmental Services (EVS) or Patient Transport leadership
