Mission

Enhance and support the leadership in the formulation and execution of safety initiatives within the Oil and Gas sector. Stay updated on regulatory developments affecting the industry. Additionally, oversee safety protocols for operational units. Ensure optimal performance of facilities while managing costs and service quality for stakeholders. Uphold core values within the management framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to regulations concerning Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Facility Management.
  • Implement and oversee professional risk assessments.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor energy efficiency initiatives in line with industry standards.
  • Guarantee compliance with air safety regulations.
  • Establish objectives, action plans, and allocate resources in accordance with industry guidelines.
  • Act as the primary liaison with employee councils, local and national health authorities, environmental agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote best practices and enhance safety competencies among team members.
  • Manage procurement, budget tracking, and productivity measures for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Ensure accurate reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to Operations Services.
  • Define technical specifications and oversee supplier contracts.
Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A degree in engineering or a related field focused on workplace safety and environmental protection.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity or as a Safety and Health Professional.
  • Experience addressing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) challenges in production environments.
  • Strong initiative, proactive mindset, and excellent interpersonal skills.
