Assistant General Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant General Manager at Sky Zone. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our park, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving sales and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the General Manager in leading a team of supervisors, team leads, and team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences and achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve park operations, including safety, guest experience, and people management.
- Support the General Manager in selecting, training, and developing team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Manage team member performance, including accountability, recognition, and rewards, to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
- Coordinate with the General Manager to schedule team members effectively to meet park needs, including sales, parties, park experiences, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain a positive park culture by recognizing and rewarding team members for their contributions and achievements.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being responsive, engaging, and proactive in addressing customer needs and concerns.
- Manage membership sales and develop strategies to increase membership revenue and retention.
- Assist the General Manager in managing parties and events, including consulting with the Event Coordinator and supporting Party Hosts in creating a positive party experience.
- Oversee facilities, maintenance, and compliance to ensure a safe and healthy park environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with supporting teams and departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- 18 years of age or older and completed high school diploma or equivalent education.
- A minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in recreation, fitness, retail, restaurant, hospitality, or a related high-volume customer service field.
- Demonstrated success in the execution of Sky Zone's Core Competencies.
- Coachable with a drive and eagerness to grow in, and successfully execute, Sky Zone's Leadership Competencies.
- Possesses basic proficiency in technology such as MS Office Suite, Teams, and point of sale (POS) systems.
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Reliable, coachable, self-motivated, and organized.
- Must be able to move consistently for long periods of time while in parks.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
- Ability to frequently communicate and interact with employees and customers in a busy and often loud indoor environment.
Starting salary is $25/hour, based on qualifications and experience.
