Compensation:
$75-80k annually, based on experience

Estimator/Project Manager Responsibilities

Your primary goal is to ensure the successful execution of landscaping projects, delivering results on time and to a high standard, ensuring client satisfaction and alignment with company objectives.

You will establish and nurture genuine, long-lasting relationships with clients, enhancing existing customer connections.


Your time will be divided, with approximately 75% spent in the field conducting site visits, guiding field teams through project details, and ensuring effective communication between field and management.


The remaining 25% will involve administrative tasks in the office, supporting daily operations and collaborating with the team.


On the sales front, you will assess client needs, create accurate proposals, and provide immediate pricing.

You will manage residential landscaping projects sold by yourself and the owner.


During the estimation phase, you will measure, calculate, and prepare project estimates to present to clients, ensuring they understand the scope of work.


You will create initial sketches and designs to communicate your vision to the foremen and crews.


Staying organized and coordinating proactively with the field team and office is essential to support your efforts and serve the customer effectively.

You will visit job sites, address issues as they arise, and maintain communication with crews.


Creating detailed work orders is crucial, ensuring timely ordering of necessary materials and explaining project specifics to the foreman and team.


You will oversee the financial aspects of projects, including cost tracking, budget adherence, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Efficient procurement of materials is your responsibility, planning for timely deliveries to job sites.

You will cultivate and maintain professional relationships with vendors.

Estimator/Project Manager Qualifications

Requirements:
- Ability to commute (schedule generally M-F, with a 6:30am start time)
- Experience in estimating and project management
- Background in the landscaping industry is advantageous
- Experience as a job foreman is beneficial
- Proficiency in G-Suite, particularly Google Sheets
- Familiarity with CRM systems and/or CompanyCam is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish is a significant advantage
- Degree in Construction Management or related experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license and insurability required for driving a company vehicle.
