The AMA Division is in search of a dedicated project analyst with proven expertise in program oversight and analytical functions. The chosen candidate will collaborate closely with ARA's project managers and principal investigators to conduct financial assessments, cost forecasts, and labor hour evaluations, along with comprehensive project reporting to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and federal regulations.

We are looking for candidates who possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Ideal candidates will be self-driven, capable of working independently while achieving results without direct supervision. Furthermore, strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while adapting to shifting priorities are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required.

Key Responsibilities of the Program Control Analyst

  • Oversee project budgets and expenditures.
  • Conduct financial analysis, including cost forecasts and estimations.
  • Prepare reports on project spending and financial estimates.
  • Perform analyses to ensure compliance with project contracts and federal regulations.
  • Participate in project and program meetings, documenting minutes and action items.
  • Monitor subcontractor expenditures, work progress, and deliverables.
  • Administer project subcontracts.
  • Compile monthly reports for contracts.
  • Extract financial and project cost data from ARA systems.
  • Ensure completion of program quality reviews.
  • Generate up-to-date spending charts and graphs for Project Monthly Review presentations.
  • Assist in the development of subcontracts, consulting agreements, contract modifications, and purchase orders for projects, adhering to corporate templates and established guidelines.
  • Maintain project cost forecasts and assist in the creation of annual cost and staffing projections, providing quarterly updates for division management.

Qualifications for the Program Control Analyst

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Two to four years of relevant experience in project support or management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience in Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Strong mathematical and accounting abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with MS SharePoint or similar file-sharing platforms.
  • Experience with budgeting and accounting software.
  • U.S. citizenship with the capability to obtain and maintain a top-secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current active security clearance.
  • At least four years of experience in a project analyst capacity.
  • Experience managing government contracts exceeding $10M.
  • Familiarity with federal contracting processes.
