Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the PMO Integrated Performer Team (IPT) to ensure timely and budget-compliant execution of high-profile research and development initiatives.
  • Assist project managers in formulating Technical Direction Plan (TDP) budgets, preparing spending plans, and delivering project outputs. Develop and maintain Excel models to monitor budget allocations and incurred costs.
  • Serve as a primary resource for technical project leads, facilitating effective communication between the PMO IPT and project stakeholders.
  • Engage with technical project leads, project managers, subcontractors, and external vendors throughout the acquisition life cycle to assess and oversee project performance.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators; analyze data proactively to identify necessary actions for aligning project financial commitments with available resources.
  • Create spreadsheets, charts, and narrative summaries to effectively communicate project performance for program management reviews and client presentations.
  • Support the development of TDP amendments, cost estimates, and subcontractor Statements of Work (SOWs) in accordance with established templates and company guidelines.
  • Work alongside the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager to enhance processes, develop templates, and provide training aimed at improving program efficiencies.
Qualifications
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory; candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance, with current clearance preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting, accompanied by a minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis or project performance management.
  • Familiarity with GSA Assisted Acquisition Services and legacy GSA FEDSIM program management processes, with the ability to convey these processes to technical project leaders, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Proven experience in managing and controlling project budgets utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel modeling skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret large volumes of multi-source financial data.
  • Experience in a collaborative team setting; capable of working effectively under tight deadlines and interacting with a diverse range of personnel.
  • Aspirations for professional growth into project or program management roles, with the capability to develop skills and knowledge for effective communication with ARA's senior leadership, government clients, and funding customers.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
