Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Business Development - Aftermarket to provide strategic input and direction for key business questions. As a strategic thought leader, you will lead critical projects and initiatives, influencing leaders across the company and driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead critical projects and initiatives to address key strategic questions or issues for the company.
  • Develop project scope and plan for key strategic projects and initiatives, including deliverables, milestones, and timing.
  • Organize and guide a cross-functional team of leaders.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement business strategies to align with the company's objectives.
  • Design and lead analysis efforts to identify simplification opportunities and quantify potential impact.
  • Develop recommendations and drive execution of recommendations for areas of opportunity across the business.
  • Provide coaching, direction, and leadership support to team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Development or a related field.
  • Ten (10) or more years of related experience OR Seven (7) or more years of related consulting experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of management experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in the field or in a related area; MBA preferred.
  • Fifteen (15) or more years of experience.
  • Prior experience working in or with a Manufacturing industry.
  • Project management experience from top-tier consulting firm (Bain, BCG, McKinsey, etc.).
  • Experience with complexity reduction concepts.
  • Thought leadership, change management, and project management experience.
  • Ability to influence change and build relationships with other business leaders.
  • Ability to conduct executive level presentations and facilitate group discussions.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
