Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Staffing: Formulates and executes comprehensive staffing strategies to attract and retain top talent across various levels, including interns and temporary staff.
  2. Talent Retention: Designs and implements programs aimed at improving employee retention and satisfaction.
  3. Performance Development: Oversees the development and assessment of performance-related training programs to ensure effective outcomes.
  4. Employee Recognition: Manages recognition initiatives and company-wide events that promote a positive organizational culture.
  5. Performance Management: Facilitates the performance evaluation process, including mid-year and annual reviews.
  6. Exit Analysis: Conducts exit interviews, analyzes feedback, and provides recommendations for continuous improvement to the HR leadership.
  7. Onboarding Support: Collaborates in the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
  8. General HR Support: Provides comprehensive HR support, including:
    1. Assisting employees and management with HR-related inquiries and concerns, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
    2. Acting as a liaison between staff and management to foster effective communication.
    3. Identifying and facilitating training and development opportunities in collaboration with management.
    4. Offering employee relations guidance, particularly on complex issues.
    5. Conducting thorough investigations as necessary.

  10. Event Support: Takes the lead in recruitment efforts for special events, including planning and executing hiring initiatives.
  11. Safety and Compliance: Upholds the organization's mission and ensures adherence to safety practices in all workplace environments.
  12. Additional Duties: Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of experience in human resources or a related field, emphasizing recruitment.
  • Proficient in utilizing technology for talent acquisition.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical HR practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant federal and state employment regulations.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
  • Proven ability to build trust and rapport with employees across all levels.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with HR management systems.
  • Relevant certifications such as SPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP.
  • Interest or background in the aviation industry.
Physical Requirements

This role typically operates in an office environment, requiring occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds. Some event preparations may necessitate lifting up to 50 pounds and extended periods of standing or walking.
