Job Title: Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at ASSA ABLOY. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our regional manufacturing facility or Service Center in Easton, Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of long-term business development strategy in collaboration with the local sales team.
  • Implement lean initiatives and improve procedures and processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, focusing on freight and distribution, capacity and workforce planning, inventory management, and product quality.
  • Plan and execute operational strategy to meet or exceed budgetary expectations.
  • Develop and implement organizational capabilities, creating a collaborative high-performance work environment through employee training, development, and succession planning.
  • Oversee expense budgets to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements.
  • Establish operational standards and KPIs for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, inventory management, and complete and on-time delivery.
  • Identify and streamline organizational processes and trends, recommending alternatives for improved effectiveness.
  • Perform special assignments and projects as assigned.
  • Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment, adhering to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent work-related experience.
  • Minimum of four (4) or more years of operational leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through others.
  • Knowledge of continuous and process improvement, including Lean principles such as Kaizen and Six Sigma.
  • Experience in metal forming or a related field, and/or a general understanding of the construction industry, preferably the commercial construction industry.
  • Leadership ability, excellent people skills, and the ability to develop relationships and influence all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, follow-up, and ability to balance multiple priorities or projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10-15% of the time.
