About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and multilingual Patient Service Representative to join our team at Care Alliance Health Center. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Communication: Professionally greet and address patient questions, requests for appointments, or medical advice; direct the patient through the check-in/check-out process.
  • Medical Records Management: Collect and update pertinent demographics, guarantor, and insurance information in the Practice Management System/Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).
  • Schedule Management: Modify clinical staff schedules as needed.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to work with underserved and disadvantaged persons; experience doing so is preferred.
  • Independence and Organization: Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and maintain excellent organizational skills and commitment to accuracy.
  • Customer Service: Excellent reception, telephone, and customer service skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Patient Services experience, 1 year of Medical records Experience, and 1 year of experience using EPIC.
  • Language Skills: Ability to speak, read, write, and converse in English and Spanish.
  • Availability: Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm.
