Position Summary:

Celligent Diagnostics LLC is seeking a dedicated PART-TIME Reporting Services Coordinator to enhance our laboratory operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that pathology results are communicated to clients with precision and efficiency, while also managing the logistics of send-off specimens for further consultation and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Operations:
    • Handle incoming calls and manage communications effectively.
    • Engage with pathologists, clients, and team members to resolve inquiries.
    • Address client issues and manage problem cases within the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
    • Process requests for additional tests as needed.
  • Accessioning Responsibilities:
    • Receive and log smear review materials, consultations, and specimens sent for analysis.
    • Input patient demographics, insurance details, and ordered tests into the system.
    • Digitally archive documents into the LIS.
    • Conduct quality assurance reviews of specimens and supporting documentation.
  • Reporting Duties:
    • Oversee the progress of pathology reports to ensure timely completion.
    • Track report delivery to confirm successful transmission to clients.
    • Perform quality assurance reviews of various pathology reports and consultations.
  • Patient Material Release:
    • Manage requests for the release of patient materials, including reports and slides.
    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations during the release process.
    • Monitor the progress of send-off specimens to guarantee timely results.
    • Maintain logs for returned materials to ensure proper filing.

Work Schedule:

This position requires a commitment of 25-29 hours per week, typically from 2 PM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility available.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in data entry.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Familiarity with anatomic pathology and medical terminology.
