Production Operations Specialist

Job Overview

Position Summary: The Production Operations Specialist will oversee the production order workflow, collaborating with various departments to initiate and finalize orders, acquire necessary documentation, and facilitate the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage work orders, ensuring all required documentation is included and verifying that orders are feasible and complete.
  • Relay production hold information to the appropriate departmental channels.
  • Create daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing department for special item requests and develop bill of materials.
  • Foster relationships with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Oversee the closing of work orders.
  • Schedule subcontractors as necessary.
  • Provide phone support as required.
  • Adhere to Mobility Works Core Values.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate Degree is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent phone communication skills.
  • Friendly demeanor with positive energy and attitude.
  • Strong collaborative skills.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Exposure to varying conditions typical of a manufacturing setting.
  • Participation in mandatory safety programs, training, and adherence to PPE guidelines.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
