Responsibilities:
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and MRI scanners, to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
  • Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related modality.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology imaging, preferably in a travel or per-diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate heavy equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
