Position Overview:

Senior Investment Operations Analyst

Team Focus: Reconciliation

The Reconciliation Team plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of data across various platforms, including Bloomberg IBOR, Eagle Pace, and client custodians. This newly established team is dedicated to executing daily three-way reconciliations among Custodian, Bloomberg, and Eagle Pace, promptly addressing and resolving any discrepancies identified within set service levels. Additionally, the team is responsible for tracking outstanding issues and maintaining comprehensive documentation for each reconciliation break.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily reviews and reconciliations of asset data discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with client custodians, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide detailed updates on approved outstanding issues to Portfolio Managers and Client teams.
  • Establish and adhere to global standards for asset reconciliation in partnership with teams in the U.S., UK, and Canada.
  • Engage with various departments to facilitate onboarding and monitor trades for discretionary clients.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and professionalism in all tasks.
  • Contribute effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of operational experience in asset management.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a strong focus on data accuracy.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
  • A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in technology and database management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Capability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, fostering strong relationships with colleagues and vendors.
  • Experience with Eagle Pace and Bloomberg, or similar systems, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT system functionalities is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VBA/macro knowledge, are advantageous.

Educational Background:

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics is preferred.
