About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Residential Program Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support services to individuals with developmental, cognitive, and intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen and evaluate new referrals for our programs
  • Provide and coordinate staffing for direct support services to individuals in their homes
  • Provide and coordinate habilitation & health-related programs to individuals served
  • Assist individuals to exercise their rights as individuals
  • Support individuals to gain community resources, access, and membership
  • Provide and coordinate social & community engagement
  • Ensure development and maintenance of appropriate and adequate records, consistent with applicable DHHS Assisted Living/MaineCare Rules and Regulations
  • Cooperate with the Executive Director, Residential Services Director, and support staff to promote safety awareness and maintain operating practices that are consistent with safety standards
  • Complete other duties that result in high-quality supports as may be deemed appropriate by the individual's teams and/or the best practices of LEAP
  • Provide Mon-Fri on-call coverage for the residence and rotating agency on-call coverage as assigned
Requirements
  • Related bachelor's degree or equivalent level of training, professional, and supervisory experience
  • At least two years of service as a Direct Support Professional
  • Valid Maine Driver's License with a record that meets LEAP's Driving Policy Guidelines
  • Experience in IDD and mental health settings is a plus
  • Certifications preferred: DSP, CRMA, and Mandt. If these certificates are expired or the applicant does not currently have them, LEAP will provide the training
