Job Title: IT Asset Management Specialist

Job Summary: Insight Global is seeking an IT Asset Management Specialist to support the implementation, documentation, and management of asset and configuration management programs. This role will collaborate closely with IT and business units to ensure effective asset and configuration management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and update hardware and software lifecycle processes from acquisition to disposal.
  • Develop and implement inventory management processes for hardware and software assets.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
  • Develop, document, and maintain process standards and workflows for asset and configuration management.
  • Implement and update control processes to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Ensure governance and operational structures are followed within asset and configuration management.
  • Develop and enforce policies to maintain process integrity and compliance.
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders on asset and configuration management processes.
  • Generate reports and analytics to provide insights into asset and configuration management performance.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in IT asset management processes and best practices.
  • 3+ years of experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools, specifically ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge of configuration (including CMDB) management processes and best practices.
