This role is chiefly accountable for the daily execution of policies, protocols, and initiatives that guarantee a well-functioning facility. The primary focus is on addressing the concerns and requirements of the organization while ensuring environmental health and safety standards are upheld. This is a proactive role that orchestrates the activities, vendors, and workforce necessary for the present and future demands of the facility, adhering to constraints of time, quality, and budget.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee, strategize, and manage all elements of the facilities operations, which may encompass maintenance, equipment, machinery, construction, space allocation and design, office services, leased properties, furnishings, and security measures.
- Plan, budget, and coordinate facility modifications and relocations, including cost assessments, bidding documents, layouts, and contracts for construction and procurement.
- Ensure that all interior space requirements, building layouts, architectural features, corporate environment demands, aesthetics, departmental work needs, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) specifications are consistently fulfilled and optimized.
- Engage in the negotiation of service agreements with external vendors.
- Guarantee that projects are finalized within established timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Establish and uphold safety, security, and emergency protocols.
- Ensure that facility maintenance standards are consistently achieved.
- Respond promptly to facility-related issues and ensure effective resolution.
- Stay informed of current regulations to effectively address and ensure compliance with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), fire safety requirements, and hazardous material management.
- Adhere to company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS- A minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, including design, construction, build-out, interiors, branding, space planning, maintenance, and custodial services.
- Possess knowledge of current and emerging trends in technologies, techniques, and methodologies related to space planning and optimization.
- Extensive experience in vendor negotiations and management.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of customer service orientation.
- Proven ability to resolve complex business challenges and make informed decisions.
- Prior experience ensuring compliance with OSHA and ADA regulations.
- Knowledgeable in establishing and enforcing safety, emergency, and security protocols.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
- Experience with sustainable design or energy efficiency methods.
