Job Summary

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for driving performance, inspiring and leading our team, and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong communication skills, leadership, and organizational abilities. Key Responsibilities
  • Inspire and Lead: Drive performance and help our team succeed by setting clear goals, providing guidance, and recognizing outstanding achievements.
  • Engage the Team: Promote safety, operational improvement, and excellence by fostering a positive work environment and encouraging open communication.
  • Delight Customers: Ensure every customer leaves with a smile by providing exceptional service, resolving issues promptly, and exceeding expectations.
  • Mentor and Coach: Develop a team of customer service stars by providing training, feedback, and support to help them grow and succeed.
  • Stay Compliant: Follow company policies and local regulations to ensure compliance and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Manage Facilities: Keep our sites in tip-top shape by maintaining equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Report Performance: Update Site and District Managers regularly on key performance indicators, such as car counts, downtime, and customer satisfaction.
  • Boost Efficiency: Increase car counts, reduce downtime, and minimize errors by analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing process changes.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of management experience, or combination of training, school, and experience.
  • Physical Demands: Required to be physically capable of executing all essential functions to perform the job with or without accommodation.
  • Schedule: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, nights and weekends.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and mobile applications.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong communication skills, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and time management expertise.
  • Decision-Making Skills: Ability to lead without the need for direct authority, effective decision-making skills, and ability to gather and analyze data.
  • Work Style: Hands-on, pragmatic work style and leadership.
