As a Lead Thermal Systems Engineer focusing on Chiller Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in our engineering team, dedicated to crafting state-of-the-art cooling solutions tailored for data center clients. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of chiller technologies, including component selection, system integration, and performance enhancement.
- Conduct thermal evaluations and simulations to assess system performance across various operating conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, engineering, and manufacturing, to establish project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Support product testing and validation efforts, analyze results, and implement design enhancements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in thermal systems engineering to drive innovation and maintain Carrier's competitive advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in thermal systems design.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering or thermal engineering with a specialization in chiller technologies.
- PhD in a relevant field.
- Experience in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer principles, and refrigeration cycles.
- Familiarity with product development processes from concept design to production release.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
- Effective communication skills in English, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
