Job Description

Terrestrial Energy is seeking a highly skilled Thermal and Electrical Facility Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall plant design of the Thermal and Electrical Facility, ensuring integration with Nuclear Facility and the rest of the plant design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the overall plant design of the Thermal and Electrical Facility.
  • Develop and manage the program schedule and resources for the Thermal and Electrical Facility.
  • Lead customer relations for site integration activities.
  • Develop best practices and guidelines for design processes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure an integrated design approach.
  • Oversee the development of technical specifications, design documents, and safety analyses for the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies throughout the design process.
  • Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential issues in the facility design.
  • Lead design reviews and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Design Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10+ years in nuclear or energy industry.
  • Project management experience with focus on facility design.
  • Progressive leadership roles.
  • PE Certification, or eligible to obtain a PE Certification.
