About the Role:
Carrier is seeking a seasoned engineer with a wealth of experience in HVAC system design and qualification. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of excellence in conducting comprehensive system architecture studies, creating product families, and formulating and executing rigorous testing strategies.

The primary responsibility of the position is the engineering technology development for commercial water chilling systems and data center cooling. In this role, the individual will be responsible for developing solutions that best meet the local/global market needs by integrating multiple technologies into winning thermal solutions.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of the thermodynamics of the chiller system, thermal system modeling, tube in shell heat transfer, refrigerant system performance analysis, product control application, and compression application.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop chiller system architecture solutions that meet or exceed product development requirements.
Lead engineering teams and confirm product design performance, capability, and reliability testing in engineering product test laboratories utilizing DOE methodologies.
Collaborate with product marketing teams to develop product requirements and ensure that the product meets their needs when launched.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of systems engineering experience. Advanced to expert knowledge obtained through advanced education, combined with experience. Substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs, or systems to make enhancements within the job area.
