Apartment Maintenance Specialist (Make Ready) - Required Experience

We are seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Specialist with a background in multi-family properties.

This role will evolve into an Assistant Maintenance Lead position after a probationary period and will require the selected candidate to pursue HVAC/EPA certification, which will be funded by the company. Upon successful completion of the certification, the compensation will be adjusted to reflect the added responsibilities.

Employees are eligible for discounted rent equivalent to the lowest priced 1BR/1BA apartment on the property or a comparable discount on another unit.


Position Overview:

  • Only candidates with relevant apartment maintenance experience will be considered for this role.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in Maintenance Tech/Make Ready roles.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:
  • The Maintenance Specialist will perform various maintenance tasks essential for preserving and enhancing the community's value.
  • Responsible for repairs and improvements of vacant units to ensure they are market-ready.
  • Collaborates with the maintenance team to uphold the quality maintenance standards established by the company.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to meet and exceed the company's quality maintenance standards.
  • 1 to 5 years of documented hands-on general maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry/construction, HVAC, etc.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
