Position Overview:

The Cybersecurity Program Coordinator is expected to possess extensive experience in overseeing large-scale Cybersecurity initiatives and utilizing relevant management tools and methodologies. This role requires a proven ability to define project requirements, adhere to timelines, develop and implement project strategies, and meet critical deadlines while functioning effectively under pressure.

The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to convey complex concepts and information to diverse audiences and stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the technical Cybersecurity Engineering lead in a customer-focused role, fostering collaboration and communication across teams to ensure alignment of Cybersecurity initiatives with business and technology objectives.
  • Oversee and document daily service operations in support of Cybersecurity Engineers and Program Management.
  • Collaborate closely with technology management to facilitate, document, and present project priorities and service maturity roadmaps.
  • Analyze and report on the impact of changing priorities within the Cybersecurity portfolio to adapt to agile business strategies.
  • Engage with technology management across various infrastructure domains to facilitate roadmaps and identify potential risks related to service objectives and project outcomes.
  • Familiarize oneself with maturing processes, project delivery metrics, critical success factors, and key performance indicators.
  • Work independently in a hybrid environment while maintaining proximity to the designated work location.

Qualifications:
Essential Technical Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Three to five years of experience managing large-scale Cybersecurity projects and utilizing associated management tools and techniques.
  • A solid technical understanding of Cybersecurity technologies and terminology.
  • Experience collaborating with Cybersecurity Engineers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in project management, process coordination, technical outcome prioritization, and delivering sensitive communications across various domains.
  • Experience in defining, clarifying, and developing project scope definitions within Cybersecurity.
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining project plans using Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to organize and maintain project resource plans and coordinate activities with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage various ad hoc projects necessary for program, process, and service maturation.
  • Experience in calculating project earned value and maintaining visibility of project risks and milestone commitments.
  • Track project status and provide simplified monthly reporting on project progress.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in administratively managing a Cybersecurity portfolio, such as vulnerability management or network security.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and Project Portfolio Management.
  • ITIL Certification.
  • Knowledge of NERC CIP standards.
  • Familiarity with the Scrum Agile Framework.
  • Experience with SharePoint site development for maintaining service landing pages.
  • Assist in designing, developing, and publishing operational performance dashboards using Excel and/or PowerBI.
