Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Cybersecurity Platform Systems Architect to enhance our infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in platform systems architecture with an emphasis on cybersecurity. This role necessitates proficiency in designing, deploying, and fortifying scalable and dependable platform systems.
The Cybersecurity Platform Systems Architect will be instrumental in architecting and sustaining the infrastructure that underpins our organization's essential platforms while ensuring comprehensive cybersecurity protocols are established.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Systems Architecture:
Design, implement, and uphold scalable and dependable platform systems to support mission-critical applications and services.
Collaborate with diverse teams to comprehend platform requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
Execute system integration, configuration, and testing to guarantee seamless functionality of platform systems.
Cybersecurity Implementation:
Adopt cybersecurity best practices and standards throughout the platform systems framework.
Conduct risk evaluations and security audits to pinpoint potential vulnerabilities and formulate mitigation strategies.
Embed security controls and mechanisms into platform systems to protect against cyber threats.
Platform Automation and Management:
Develop and deploy automation tools and scripts to optimize platform deployment, configuration, and maintenance tasks.
Orchestrate platform systems utilizing contemporary DevOps methodologies to achieve continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Establish monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve performance and security challenges.
Incident Management and Analysis:
Create incident response strategies and protocols to effectively address cybersecurity incidents.
Perform forensic investigations of security breaches to determine root causes and suggest preventive measures.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to mitigate security incidents and minimize impact.
Documentation and Knowledge Transfer:
Maintain thorough documentation of platform system configurations, security policies, and procedures.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members on platform systems architecture and cybersecurity best practices.
Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of team processes and capabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Sec+, CISSP, CEH, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.
Expertise in designing and implementing scalable platform architectures utilizing cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong grasp of cybersecurity principles, including secure system design, access control, encryption, and vulnerability management.
Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, and endpoint security solutions.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot intricate technical issues in platform systems.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
