  • Show appreciation for customers' purchases.
  • Resolve customer concerns to maintain satisfaction.
  • Assist in accurately scanning and processing customer orders promptly.
  • Handle all payment methods and coupons with care.
  • Carry out assigned tasks from the supervisor efficiently.
  • Manage customer flow within the checkout area.
  • Address any pricing discrepancies as needed.
  • Support the stocking of merchandise around the checkout zones.
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the registers and supplies.
  • Adhere to all store policies and procedures.

SUPERVISORY ROLE

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

  • Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, operational instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.
  • Effective verbal communication skills with customers and team members.

MATH SKILLS

  • Basic understanding of mathematical concepts including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

CERTIFICATIONS

No specific certifications, licenses, or registrations are required for this position.

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT

  • Slip-resistant footwear with closed toes and heels.
  • Ladder and stepladder for stock management.
  • Uniform as per store policy.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Regularly (Over 2/3 of the time):

  • Stand and walk.
