Role Purpose
This position is responsible for promoting company products that have received commercial approval. This includes providing comprehensive support for procedure coverage, ensuring proper patient selection through expert knowledge of ultrasound and venous mapping, and facilitating procedure follow-ups. The role also involves delivering clinical education and support, as well as assisting in the management of clinical trials at designated centers, adhering to all relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver ongoing clinical support, which encompasses:
- Assessing candidacy criteria
- Providing procedure support
- Conducting post-procedure follow-ups
- Managing complex cases
- Ensuring adherence to product instructions and protocols
- Offering continuous education

2. Act as the primary resource for troubleshooting, mapping, and patient follow-up related to company products.

3. Ensure the timely collection and reporting of essential medical documentation regarding procedural device operation, utilizing corporate tracking procedures and collaborating with relevant personnel to resolve issues.

4. Follow company guidelines for managing commercial and investigational product inventories.

5. Address customer inquiries regarding products and services by developing practical solutions or collaborating with sales, clinical research, marketing, and technical support teams.

6. Build and maintain relationships with hospital, laboratory, and office personnel to identify key decision-makers and facilitate future sales opportunities.

7. Participate in professional education initiatives by educating customers on the advantages and appropriate clinical use of company products through various presentation formats.

8. Identify opportunities to present competitive insights to support regional sales efforts.

9. Assist in mentoring new field personnel in their training and educational needs.

10. Evaluate and educate healthcare professionals on the correct usage of BSC/Varithena products within the chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) context.

11. Facilitate the adoption of Varithena through education and outreach with registered vascular technologists (RVTs).

Travel Requirements
This role requires extensive travel, approximately 80% of the time.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in a health-related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare.
- 3-5 years of experience in the medical device industry as a clinical specialist or similar role.
- Credentialed as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
- Experience assisting physicians with vein procedures.
- Proven ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills for conveying site-related information, including product performance and meeting planning.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO 13485, and MDD requirements.

Compensation
The anticipated annual base salary for this full-time position is $70,000, with additional variable compensation based on the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and organizational needs.
