Key Responsibilities:
As a Data Scientist at Capital One, you will be part of a team that's leading the next wave of disruption, using the latest in computing and machine learning technologies to unlock big opportunities that help people save money, time, and agony in their financial lives. Your tasks will include partnering with a cross-functional team of data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered products customers love, leveraging a broad stack of technologies to reveal the insights hidden within huge volumes of numeric and textual data, and translating the complexity of your work into tangible business goals with strong interpersonal skills.

Requirements:
You must be innovative, staying current on published state-of-the-art methods, technologies, and applications and seeking out opportunities to apply them. You should also be technical, comfortable with open-source languages and passionate about developing further. Experience building large deep learning models is a must. Additionally, you should be statistically-minded, building, benchmarking, and deploying models, thinking probabilistically, designing experiments, and interpreting automated metrics. A strong understanding of data retrieval, combining, cleaning, filtering, annotating, and analyzing data from various sources and structures is also required.

Education and Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in data analytics or a Master's Degree plus 3 years, or a PhD in a 'STEM' field is necessary. At least 1 year of experience with machine learning and open-source programming languages for large-scale data analysis is also required.
