About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to contribute to our team's success. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and deploying artificial intelligence and machine learning models that drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with a cross-functional team to convert business problems into scalable solutions using your knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and machine learning.
  • Develop and release predictive models to production, leveraging your expertise in machine learning and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in machine learning and data science.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a data scientist, including experience developing and releasing predictive models to production.
  • Demonstrated success turning business problems into data problems and developing innovative solutions.
  • Ability to explain results to technical and non-technical stakeholders, leveraging your communication skills and data visualization expertise.
  • Advanced knowledge of applied mathematics and statistics, with a strong understanding of their applications in online businesses.
  • Experience with machine learning tools, such as scikit-learn or R, and a strong understanding of statistical programming languages, including Python and R.
  • Strong skills in data visualization, with experience using tools like Jupyter notebooks and SQL.
  • Passion for sharing knowledge and mentoring teammates, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a desire to grow a business and contribute to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or economics; Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field preferred.
